Chickpea Smash


  • Can of low sodium Goya chickpeas, rinsed and drained
  • 2 1/2 Tbs of vegan mayo
  • 1 1/2 stalks of celery, chopped
  • 1 Tbs capers
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste


Mash the chickpeas with a fork in a bowl. Add the mayo, capers, celery and garlic powder and mix well. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Serve alone, on a pita or wrap, or even on a bed of lettuce! Enjoy!
