Spinach Mango Strawberry Juice


20140424-112656.jpgThere is nothing more fun than buying different fruits and veggies and throwing them into my juicer. I love making different healthy concoctions that please my palate, and offer numerous nutritional benefits! Today I decided that organic spinach, strawberries and mango would be the magic ingredients.

Spinach is loaded with vitamins and nutrients such as potassium, magnesium, manganese, carotene, folic acid, and iron. It helps clear out the tissues in your body and help maintain the alkalinity of your blood. Spinach is also an excellent blood builder.

Strawberries have more anti-aging vitamin C than oranges and grapefruit! For smoother skin, you should be eating more vitamin C rich foods daily. They are full of anti-oxidants and help protect the body against damaging free radicals. The high levels of vitamin C in strawberry juice help increase anti-oxidant production and remove toxins from our bodies.

Mangoes are a low-calorie source of vitamins A and C and dietary fiber. One mango contains about 5 grams of dietary fiber. They are also a good source of beta-carotene, which can help prevent diabetes, heart disease and cancer.

Ingredients:

  • 1 mango, peeled and cut
  • 10 strawberries
  • 1 lb spinach

Directions:

Put all of the ingredients into the juicer, except for 5 strawberries. Pour contents into a glass. Then, juice the remainder of the strawberries and pour on top of the mixture to get that pink color on top. Garnish with a strawberry and enjoy! Drink slowly and feel those nutrients go to work in your body. I guarantee you will be “glowing” after drinking this!
